Yankees' Marcus Stroman has setback in rehab of knee injury

Marcus Stroman's left knee injury has put a damper on his return to pitching, with manager Aaron Boone indicating he still feels discomfort after throwing live batting practice in Florida last Friday. The right-hander was placed on the 15-day injured list earlier this year but hasn't pitched since allowing five runs in two-thirds of an inning against the San Francisco Giants on April 11. Stroman, 34, is on a significant contract with an $16 million player option for 2026. Meanwhile, DJ LeMahieu made progress in his Triple-A rehab and could soon join the Yankees this week to start his season.
