Dragon Quest 1 and 2 HD-2D Remake arrives on October 30

Square Enix is bringing back beloved Dragon Quest titles with high-quality remakes of the first two games in the franchise. Available on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC via Steam, these HD-2D versions feature brand-new story additions, a refined battle system, and improved visuals inspired by the original. Pre-orders for the set are priced at $60 each (except for digital Switch titles), with Collector’s Editions offering extra content like wallpapers and character designs. For fans who missed the third game's remake last year, Square Enix is also releasing a special digital-only collection including all three games.
