Google’s Gemini chatbot gets upgraded image creation tools

Google has introduced enhanced native image editing capabilities in its Gemini chatbot app, allowing users to modify AI-generated images and photos from their devices. This feature expands globally across 45 languages and most countries, following a successful pilot of AI-driven image editing on Google's AI Studio platform earlier this year. The tool now offers a multi-step editing process with integrated text and visuals, enabling tasks like changing backgrounds or adding elements to images. To address concerns about deepfakes, Gemini includes invisible watermarks on generated images while exploring visible watermarks as an option.
