Copa del Rey final: Kylian Mbappé starts on Real Madrid bench

Kylian Mbappé made headlines by being named a starter in Real Madrid's Copa del Rey final against Barcelona despite initially sitting on the bench due to an ankle injury. The Ivorian forward, who limped off during a previous match with an ankle sprain, missed several key games this season and faced criticism for his performances. Manager Carlo Ancelotti opted for Vinícius Júnior and Rodrygo in attack while Barcelona remains without 40-goal striker Robert Lewandowski due to a hamstring injury.
