Angel Reese has double-double in Sky exhibition vs. Brazil at LSU

Angel Reese shattered records and celebrated her LSU roots as the Chicago Sky swept the Brazilian national team in their WNBA exhibition opener, scoring a double-double with 15 points and 10 rebounds. The former LSU star, returning to her alma mater after transferring from Maryland, praised the program and shared highlights of her time at LSU with her teammates before the game. Her teammate Hailey Van Lith also made a strong debut with seven points, five assists, and three rebounds. The Sky, under new coach Tyler Marsh, rode a stellar performance by Kia Nurse to a decisive 89-62 victory, while Brazil faces Caitlin Clark’s Indiana Fever in their next stop on the U.S. tour.
