Trump says Putin 'playing with fire' as sanctions pressure grows

U.S. President Trump warned Vladimir Putin Tuesday about taking 'fire' due to Ukraine tensions as Washington considers new sanctions against Moscow over the conflict. Frustrated with stalled ceasefire talks, Trump recently criticized Putin after a major drone attack on Ukraine. While Putin claimed they were responding to Ukrainian jets and accusing Kyiv of disrupting peace efforts back in February 2022 when they invaded Ukraine.
