Brembo develops brakes with almost no brake dust and less wear

As electric vehicles gain traction, efforts to reduce particulate emissions have shifted to alternative sources like tires and brakes. In Europe, the upcoming Euro 7 standard will set stricter limits on emissions for all new vehicles, including EVs, starting next year. Brembo has developed Greentell, a brake and pad system that cuts brake dust emissions by 90% while improving durability. VP of disc technical development Fabiano Carminati explained how the company invested years to create this greener solution for mass-market applications, balancing performance with environmental benefits.
