Zoox issues another software recall for its robotaxis after a San Francisco collision

A collision involving an unoccupied Zoox robotaxi in San Francisco led to a minor incident where a scooter rider was injured, prompting the company to issue its second voluntary software recall. Following a separate accident earlier this month in Las Vegas, Zoox updated its systems to enhance safety and prevent unintended movements near vulnerable road users. Despite the recall, tests for autonomous vehicles are already underway, with public rides expected to become available later this year.
