Iranian man arrested in London as part of counter-terrorism investigation

A 31-year-old Iranian man has been arrested in London under the National Security Act 2023 as part of a counter-terrorism investigation linked to a plot involving the Israeli embassy on Saturday, with three other Iranian men detained alongside him. Earlier that day, two additional men were taken in another operation. Separately, four more Iranian individuals were detained across England on Saturday for suspected terrorist activities, with one under the Police and Criminal Evidence Act.
