Newark Mayor Ras Baraka freed after arrest at ICE detention center

Ras Baraka, mayor of Newark, was released after spending several hours in custody while protesting a private detention facility linked to President Trump’s mass deportation plan. Along with him were three Democratic House members who were not arrested—they addressed supporters outside the DHS office following his release. Baraka denied any wrongdoing during his press conference.
