Mozilla is shutting down its read-it-later app Pocket

Pocket, Mozilla's read-it-later service, is shutting down on July 8, 2025, with users needing to export their saved articles by October 8 to retain access. Fakespot, a tool for vetting product reviews, will also be discontinued in late 2025 as Mozilla transitions away from its browser extension and app support. Existing Pocket Premium subscriptions will end automatically, and annual subscribers will receive refunds until then, while others lose access through specific dates or deletion.
