Two-Time State Diving Champ Dead at 18 After Car Crash

Maisey O'Donnell, a two-time state diving champion who inspired countless young athletes with her talent and dedication, tragically lost her life in a car crash during spring break in Florida. The fatal collision occurred on Monday night near Panama City when an SUV carrying O'Donnell and others crashed with a tractor-trailer attempting a U-turn in the median, sending the vehicle into the woods. O'Donnell, who planned to attend Williams College, was gravely injured but later lost her life. Her coach described her as one of the best divers in the country, leaving behind not only her peers in the water but also friends and family who will miss her deeply.
