Bluegrass Star Billy Strings is Playing on a Cryptopsy Album

Billy Strings, the Grammy-winning bluegrass musician known for his heavy metal fandom and past appearances in metal bands, has joined Cryptopsy on a reissue of their 1994 album *Blasphemy Made Flesh*, which now includes a previously-unreleased live set from 1995. The expanded edition features a medley titled “Blasphemy Made Flesh,” with Strings contributing a blistering guitar solo alongside guest vocalists from Shadow Of Intent, Stabbing Vulnerability, Undeath, Carcosa, and Unfathomable Ruination. Meanwhile, Cryptopsy is embarking on a European tour in support of their new album, with stops across Germany, Belgium, France, Luxembourg, Italy, and Spain.
