Didn't know fans' level of love for Luka Doncic

Nico Harrison, the Mavericks' general manager, acknowledged the intense fan support for Luka Doncic despite the team's recent struggles after trading him to the Los Angeles Lakers in exchange for Anthony Davis. Despite facing criticism and blowback from the trade, Harrison believed it was the right move to build a championship contender. However, the team hasn't yet been able to capitalize on that potential due to scheduling issues and Kyrie Irving's injury. Meanwhile, Doncic expressed his desire to move on, while Harrison remains hopeful about re-signing Irving next season.
