China’s Huawei develops new AI chip to compete with US’s Nvidia: Report

Huawei is developing its next-generation AI processor, the Ascend 910D, which is in early development and will undergo testing before being available to customers. The company aims to surpass Nvidia's H100 chip with this new technology, and samples are expected to arrive as early as late May. Despite years of challenges and U.S.-led restrictions, Huawei has successfully positioned its AI chips as key competitors in the semiconductor market.
