More Switch games are getting Switch 2 upgrades

Nintendo is rolling out free Switch 2 enhancements for a selection of its top Switch games, including iconic titles from Mario, Zelda, Pokémon, and Captain Toad. These upgrades, which are more modest than premium DLCs like Breath of the Wild, feature visual improvements or multiplayer capabilities, with some games offering support for up to four players via GameShare. Available on June 5 after a system update, these free updates will allow Switch owners to enjoy classic favorites in enhanced form when their next console arrives.
