14 people fall ill from tap water poisoning in Gunma

Fourteen residents of Kanna, Gunma, experienced severe health issues after consuming contaminated tap water. Among those affected were children under 9 and individuals in their 80s, who exhibited symptoms including diarrhea, fever, and abdominal pain. Authorities linked the contamination to agricultural water entering the water supply reservoir, prompting residents not to drink tap water and instead use bottled water as a precaution.
