Fatal Storm Rips Through Oklahoma and Texas, Flooding Roads

A slow-moving storm caused deadly flooding in Oklahoma on Wednesday, shutting down roadways and sweeping cars off the road, with one man dying after his vehicle was entrapped by a powerful current. The National Weather Service warned of more rain expected on Thursday, which could lead to flash floods in both Oklahoma and Texas, areas already receiving several inches of rain. In neighboring Lincoln County, an 86-year-old woman from Prague, Okla., died after her vehicle was swept away by high water, with another passenger surviving after being rescued by the Lincoln County Fire Department.
