3000 Pictures Lands Jordan Harrison’s Debut Novel ‘Miss Archer’ With Color Force Producing

Sony has preemptively acquired the rights to Jordan Harrison's debut novel, "Miss Archer," which follows a young governess and an enigmatic boy in a 19th-century setting. Harrison, a celebrated playwright and screenwriter with numerous accolades, will adapt his work into a film, marking his return after "Marjorie Prime." The novel, due for publication in early 2027, explores themes of mystery and survival as the characters navigate an isolated estate. Sony's Color Force and William Morrow (HarperCollins) are leading the project, alongside Harrison's association with major franchises like "The Hunger Games" series.
