Dave Grohl unexpectedly branched out into dance music for *Nevermind*, collaborating with disco drummers on his track. At a school benefit, he performed a modified version of "Daft Punk is Playing At My House," joining forces with Foo Fighters members and others for a diverse lineup that included covers by St. Vincent, Kim Gordon, Joan Jett, and his daughter Violet. Earlier in the year, Grohl reunited with Krist Novoselic to collaborate with Jack Black on a Minecraft soundtrack track and contributed drums to "I Feel Alive." He also appeared at Coachella, joining the Los Angeles Philharmonic for orchestral renditions of "The Sky Is a Neighborhood."
