Hugh Jackman’s ‘Three Bags Full: A Sheep Detective Movie’ Moves Baa To Pre-Thanksgiving 2026

Amazon MGM Studios has pushed Three Bags Full: A Sheep Detective Movie from its original February 2024 release date to November 13, 2026, to attract more families. Starring Hugh Jackman as a sheep-reading shepherd whose sudden death sparks a group of/sheep's investigation into solving his mysterious demise while a local cop struggles to crack a serious crime in their human world. The film also features Nicholas Braun and stars like Emma Thompson and Chris O’Dowd. Other major Thanksgiving movies, including Lionsgate’s Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping on Nov. 20 and an untitled Disney Animation title on Nov. 25, will compete for moviegoers' attention that weekend.
