ARX Robotics rides defence tech wave with €31M for battlefield robots

ARX Robotics, a German defence tech startup, has secured €31 million to scale production of its autonomous battlefield robots, which resemble mini-tanks without guns. These robots, enhanced by their Mithras OS software, aim to modernize military vehicles with AI and autonomy. Marc Wietfeld, the co-founder and CEO, plans for ARX to become Europe's leading provider in this field. The company has already delivered 30 robots to Ukraine during the conflict and is testing its technology across Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Hungary, and the UK as part of larger EU initiatives.
