Good news for EEA residents as Microsoft is rolling out updates to Edge, ditching its "pick me" image. Users no longer get nagged by Edge unless using a progressive web app or PWA. Those handy folks in Windows 10 and 11 can finally opt out of Edge, ensuring their devices remain independent from the tech giant. The first update is set for May 29, bringing these changes to Windows 10 and 11.
