SteamOS 3.7 brings Valve’s gaming OS to other handhelds and generic AMD PCs

Valve is rolling out **SteamOS 3.7**, adding official support for a range of PC hardware beyond its own Steam Deck, including Asus ROG Ally, Lenovo Legion Go, and Legion Go S models. This marks a significant step forward, allowing users with AMD-powered devices to run SteamOS more seamlessly, though only fully supported on the Steam Deck and Legion Go S. Previously, third-party distributions like Bazzite enabled SteamOS on some hardware; now, users can access it directly from Valve. To use SteamOS, devices must have AMD hardware and an NVMe SSD, with Secure Boot disabled to avoid Windows 11's default setting.
