Two suspected Ugandan rebels killed in Kampala explosion

A female suicide bomber and another suspected Allied Democratic Forces (ADF) rebel were killed in a devastating blast near Kampala’s Munyonyo Martyrs’ Shrine on Tuesday, as crowds gathered to mark the annual Martyrs’ Day. The attack occurred while two people were riding a motorcycle outside the shrine, with no civilian casualties reported. The suspects are believed to be affiliated with the ADF group, which has ties to ISIS and was previously responsible for numerous deadly bombings in Uganda.
