Slate Auto crosses 100,000 refundable reservations in two weeks

Slate Auto, a new EV startup, has surpassed 100,000 reservations for its $20k-plus customizable electric pickup truck just over two weeks after launching it in Los Angeles—more quickly than many other EV startups have managed to do similar numbers. The company is building the vehicles at an Indiana factory and aims to produce up to 150,000 units by 2027 with support from big names like Jeff Bezos and Guggenheim Partners.
