UP.Labs-Porsche’s newest startup wants to be the Plaid of automotive retail

The automotive retail industry faces significant communication challenges due to its fragmented ecosystem of diverse software systems, complicating interactions between dealerships, manufacturers, and service providers. Joel Milne, a serial entrepreneur, addressed this issue by founding AutoUnify, an API enabling real-time communication across these platforms, aiming to streamline operations and reduce costs. The startup, backed by UP.Labs with $5 million in funding, is expanding its sales force and focusing on technology development alongside building its sales pipeline.
