Emma Stone & Jesse Plemons Movie ‘Bugonia’ From Yorgos Lanthimos Sets Fall Release

Focus Features will kick off its wide release of *Bugonia* on October 24 in limited theaters before expanding to select locations nationwide on October 31. Starring Emma Stone and featuring director Yorgos Lanthimos and a compelling sci-fi plot about conspiracy theorists kidnapping an alien-controlled CEO, the film also includes notable actors like Jesse Plemons. The movie will be shown at select New York and Los Angeles theaters during its weeklong event. Additionally, Focus Features is busy building its fall film slate with other major releases, including Wes Anderson’s *The Phoenician Scheme* and Ronan Day-Lewis’s *Anemone*, as well as Emma Stone’s Hamnet.
