The Last of Us recap: season two, episode three – yes, Joel has been replaced already

The Last of Us Season Two continues with Ellie (Bella Ramsey) and Dina (Isabela Merced) on a high-stakes road trip to find Abby, the mysterious figure behind Joel’s murder. Despite her usual sarcastic nature, Ellie is driven by Joel’s memory and a desire for justice, leading them to Seattle. Their mission is complicated by a new faction of hatted hares (the Washington Liberation Front), whose leader Abby could be. Meanwhile, Ellie’s plan to take on the town council backfires when it gets voted down by eight to three. The episode ends with the group making their long journey from Wyoming to Seattle and hinting at an upcoming antagonist in the form of Isaac, the WLF leader.
