DC Studios May Have a Movie-Free SDCC This Year

DC Studios has decided to avoid unveiling key DC Comics characters during this year’s San Diego Comic-Con, opting instead to focus heavily on Peacemaker, the upcoming HBO Max series. Marvel Studios is also taking a similar approach for their cinematic slate. While no Hall H panel for Peacemaker is expected, DC could potentially reveal other projects if Lanterns, another HBO Max series, continues to progress. The convention runs from July 24-27, with updates on DC’s plans to follow in the footsteps of Marvel later this week.
