Christopher Gorham & Michele Weaver Board CBS’ ‘Sheriff Country’ As Series Regulars

Christopher Gorham and Michele Weaver, known for *Georgie and Mandy’s First Marriage* (*Ugly Betty*) and *Love Is*, respectively, have joined the cast of *Sheriff Country*, CBS’ new spinoff series centered on a small-town sheriff. The show stars Morena Baccarin as Sheriff Mickey Fox, whose ex-con father and mysterious past complicate her life alongside her investigation of criminal activity in Edgewater. Gorham will play Travis, a lawyer and former love interest of Mickey, while Weaver will portray Cassidy, inspired by Mickey but now tasked with becoming his deputy. The series also stars W. Earl Brown as Sheriff Fox’s father and stepfather of Sharon Leone from *Fire Country*.
