Archibald prize 2025 finalists: Nicole Kidman, Aaron Chen, Jackie O and others – in pictures

The Art Gallery of NSW has unveiled the final contenders for the 2025 Archibald Prize, with the winner to be revealed on 9 May. The $100,000 prize will go to the best portrait of a person distinguished in art, letters, science, or politics, painted by an Australian resident. From 10 May to 17 August, these finalists will be on display at the gallery alongside entries for other notable prizes.
