Mary Lou Retton's legal team insists the Olympic legend remains active despite a DWI arrest last month, maintaining she’s in good spirits. The lawyer clarified that claims her family hasn’t heard from her since May are inaccurate. Retton was arrested for DWI on May 17 with elevated blood alcohol levels and evidence of impairment during sobriety tests. Police also found a wine bottle in the car. Retton hasn’t publicly commented yet, but her lawyer expects she may speak soon.
