Sword of the Sea launches August 19

Giant Squid's latest game, Sword of the Sea, will soon launch on August 19th for PlayStation 5 and PC, plus it'll be available on PlayStation Plus from day one for Premium and Extra subscribers. The title, which blends surfing with the atmospheric elements of Giant Squid's previous works like Abzû and Journey, features stunning environments including mysterious sandwaves, ice-scapes, and ocean scenes teeming with flying dolphins. The game also boasts a cast of creative talent, including Giant Squid creative director Matt Nava and composer Austin Wintory from Pathless, whose work on Abzû further solidifies the game's immersive experience.
