Korea’s Barunson E&A Unveils International Remake Deal With Indonesian Studio Imajinari

Barunson E&A, known for producing Oscar-winning films like *Parasite*, has teamed up with Indonesian studio Imajinari to acquire remake rights for three of its hit titles: *Agak Laen*, its upcoming sequel, and *Tinggal Meninggal*. This marks the studio's expansion into new markets beyond co-production and sales, focusing primarily on Southeast Asia. Imajinari, founded by comedian-director Ernest Prakasa, has already collaborated with Barunson E&A on successful projects like *13 Bombs* and *Rangga & Cinta*, while *Agak Laen* is their biggest hit to date. The partnership aims to bring these stories to global audiences in exciting new forms.
