Google’s AI Mode gets expanded access and additional functionality

Google is enhancing its AI Mode feature by making it more accessible and user-friendly. The update allows anyone 18 or older in the U.S., including those not enrolled in Google Labs, to access the tool, which lets users ask detailed questions and follow-ups about topics directly in Search. New features include visual details for places and products, such as ratings, reviews, prices, and inventory info, alongside the ability to resume previous searches. Examples like finding a foldable camping chair or nearby vintage shops highlight its expanded capabilities.
