Samuel L. Jackson To Star In ‘Tulsa King’ Spinoff ‘NOLA King’ As Taylor Sheridan Universe Expands

Samuel L. Jackson will star as Russell Lee Washington Jr., a crime-themed character modeled after Sylvester Stallone’s Dwight “The General” Manfredi, in Paramount+’s *NOLA King*, a spinoff of *Tulsa King*. As executive producer alongside Dave Erickson, Jackson will take on the lead role after appearing in select episodes this summer. The series, inspired by Showtime's idea, expands the TulsaKing universe like Yellowstone did for its prequel, joining Sheridan’s growing Paramount+ library with other notable actors such as Kevin Costner, Jeremy Renner, and Zoe Saldaña.
