Organizers broadly agree to preserve part of Osaka Expo ring

The organizers of the Osaka Expo have agreed to preserve part of the Grand Ring, the iconic wooden structure at the venue, with plans to finalize a concrete preservation plan by June 23. Discussions included preserving either a section on the ocean side or maintaining the ring as a monument in its current condition, while also addressing cost-sharing and management. A survey showed high satisfaction among Expo visitors with the Grand Ring.
