15,000 Argentine fans to be banned from Club World Cup

Argentina's Security Minister Patricia Bullrich recently handed the United States Embassy a list of 15,000 violent soccer fans banned from stadiums during the Club World Cup in the U.S., set to take place from June 14 to July 13. The list was compiled using "Tribuna Segura," a program monitoring individuals with arrest warrants and imposing entry restrictions on over 4 million people in 1,328 matches since the government's inception. The tournament features Boca Juniors in Group C alongside Bayern Munich, Auckland City FC, and Benfica, while River Plate is placed in Group E along with Urawa Red Diamonds, Monterrey, and Inter Milan.
