Mubi Acquires Kleber Mendonça Filho’s ‘The Secret Agent’ for U.K., India and Latin America

Mubi has made a significant move by acquiring "The Secret Agent" for release in Latin America (excluding Brazil), the U.K., Ireland, and India, following Neon's acquisition in North America. The film, well-received at Cannes, tells the story of Marcelo, a tech expert in his 40s on the run during Carnival in Recife. Mubi secured the deal with mk2, their international sales team. This addition complements Mubi's expanding slate, which already includes "The Mastermind" and other films like "Sentimental Value" and "Die My Love."
