Bill Gates says his Foundation will close in 2045 and decries Musk for USAID cuts

Bill Gates announced his intention to shut down the Gates Foundation by 2045, focusing on distributing his wealth through philanthropic efforts aimed at saving lives globally. He criticized Elon Musk for abruptly cutting funding from USAID, leading to issues like expired supplies and disease resurgence, likening it to "killing the world’s poorest children." Gates also expressed hope that his foundation will accelerate giving to address preventable deaths of moms and babies, lifting millions out of poverty, while emphasizing his commitment to the Giving Pledge despite Musk's actions.
