The streets of NYC came alive as hundreds of runners and walkers gathered for the 9/11 Memorial & Museum 5K Run/Walk on the weekend, with proceeds from the event aiming to keep the iconic site free. Ally Love, a fitness star and social media advocate, helped kick off the event alongside NYPD officers who secured the area for safety. The race retraced first responders' routes from September 11, 2001, while participants celebrated their resilience in gray skies, joined byFDNY firefighters in red shirts who cheered them on.
