Sendai to host U.N. disaster reduction conference in 2027

The U.N. Office for Disaster Risk Reduction is set to host its first-ever Asia-Pacific ministerial conference in Sendai this autumn, marking a significant milestone as Japan takes the lead in disaster preparedness and response efforts globally.
