Political Documentary ‘Sudan, Remember Us’ Acquired by Watermelon Pictures (EXCLUSIVE)

Watermelon Pictures, a Palestinian-owned film distribution company, has acquired U.S. rights to "Sudan, Remember Us," a poignant documentary by director Hind Meddeb about Arab world resistance movements following the 2019 Sudanese revolution. The film, which explores the struggles of activists and young leaders amid political instability in the region, has been praised for its bold storytelling by co-founder Hamza Ali and recognized as a thoughtful portrayal of collective hope by critic Murtada Elfadl. The documentary, produced by Echo Films and others, will be released in North America this summer.
