Lil Durk Files to Dismiss Superseding Indictment in Murder-For-Hire Case

Lil Durk is suing to have the charges against him dismissed after arguing that the song "Wonderful Wayne & Jackie Boy" he featured in doesn’t conclusively prove he was involved in the assassination of his friend Saviay'a Robinson. The song’s lyrics, which appear on the superseding indictment, were claimed by prosecutors to directly reference Robinson’s murder, but Durk and his lawyer Drew Findling argue that the song predates the alleged event. Durk claims any changes made to the lyrics after its recording in January 2022 weren’t done by him or anyone close, and he deems the prosecution’s argument “extra-sensory prescience,” dismissing all charges against him.
