Luigi Mangione indicted on federal murder charge over healthcare CEO killing

Luigi Mangione has been indicted for the federal murder of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson. The indictment also includes charges of stalking and a firearms count. Mangione, a 26-year-old Ivy League graduate from Maryland, faces state murder charges as well. He is accused of shooting Thompson outside a Manhattan hotel in December. The case marks the first federal death penalty case sought under President Trump's administration following a campaign promise to resume capital punishment.
