'Delete for everyone' appears in the Google Messages beta

Until now, you could only delete messages on your device. But with Google Messages' RCS group chats, you can now permanently remove messages for everyone in the conversation, not just yourself— thanks to a feature spotted in a recent beta test by a Reddit user. The change aligns with GSMA's Universal Profile v2.7 and is expected to roll out over time. However, some users haven't seen it yet, and older app versions might still show deleted messages to others.
