CATL starts taking investor orders for world’s biggest listing this year

Contemporary Amperex Technology Co. Ltd. (CATL) has launched one of the largest stock offerings ever, signaling its aim to become a global leader in EV batteries. The company is seeking to raise up to HK$41 billion through its IPO, with shares set to trade at around HK$263 each, slightly below Friday’s closing price but roughly equivalent to Thursday’s close. The company expects the stock to begin trading on May 20 if all greenshoe exercised.
