Asian Development Bank will hold its annual meeting in Nagoya in 2027

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) has announced that its 60th annual meeting will take place in Nagoya, Japan, in 2027. Following a gap of more than two decades since its last meeting there, ADB is set to return to Japan for the event. In Milan at the ADB's ongoing annual meeting, Finance Minister Katsunobu Kato expressed optimism about Japan hosting the gathering again. Japan has previously hosted five ADB meetings, with Aichi Prefecture and its capital city Nagoya recently joining forces in the bid to host the 2027 event.
