French studio Pathé has exited the UK film market, shifting focus to television series with Faith Penhale at the helm of their TV development arm. The decision was met with disappointment in the UK, though Pathé remains proud of its iconic films like *Slumdog Millionaire* and *Philomena*. President Ardavan Safaee hinted at a potential return this year, citing market changes post-COVID, which have enabled them to expand into globally-oriented productions in Europe and the US. Currently, Pathé continues to showcase notable titles such as *The Count of Monte Cristo* and *13 Days, 13 Nights* at Cannes.
